String Instructors


JUNE (Master Piano Instructor and Violin Instructor) – A native of Taiwan, June is now a Doctoral Piano Performance Candidate at the University of Minnesota, teaching class piano students at the college level. June’s undergrad work focused on music with a major in piano and minor in violin. Furthermore, June has more than ten years of experience teaching students from beginners to college-level.

June studied her undergraduate in National Taiwan Normal University in music education and performance. After teaching general music class in middle school for one year, she came to the States to study with the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition winner, Antonio Pompa-Baldi, at the Cleveland Institute of Music. Then she went on to attend University of Minnesota, under the famous Russian pianist’s instruction, Alexander Braginsky.

June believes music should be fun and expressive. She has a flexible teaching method to engage every student according to their needs and interests with variety of music styles. She has experiences preparing her students passing exams, winning competitions, participating orchestras and solo/chamber concerts. Besides teaching, June also performs as a soloist, chamber pianist, choir accompanist in the United States and Taiwan.
