Isabel is an accomplished classical violinist and fiddler currently living in Minneapolis, MN. She recently graduated from Lawrence University with Bachelor’s degrees in Violin Performance and Geology, and has spent the last few years exploring various musical styles and jumping on every opportunity she can to expand her versatility as a musician. She was the president and founder of the Fiddlers of Lawrence University, a group aimed to teach and learn a variety of fiddle tunes to students in a fun, relaxed and low-stress environment. Isabel also served as Concertmaster of the Lawrence Symphony Orchestra, and performed as a violinist and fiddler with various ensembles at Lawrence and around Wisconsin. She has attended festivals such as the Silkroad Global Musician Workshop, Sewanee Summer Music Festival, Festival of American Fiddle Tunes, and Pure Dead Brilliant Fiddle Weekend. Isabel is a certified Suzuki Violin Teacher, and has taught a variety of levels from beginners to advanced students. She believes strongly in ear training and parent involvement in lessons, and hopes to help students gain skills to thrive as musicians and humans.
