Nick is a bassist and music educator from Madison, Wisconsin. As an active performer, he has toured the country playing funk and bluegrass, as well as performed and recorded albums with groups of varying genres, including classical, jazz, rock, metal, and deep listening. Before moving to the Twin Cities, he taught music in the Appleton Area School District, and has experience teaching many instruments, both privately and in the Orchestra, Band, Choir, and General Music classrooms. He is comfortable teaching students of every age and ability, and believes that following each student’s unique musical path is the key to becoming a joyful and accomplished musician. Nick holds degrees from Lawrence University in Music Education and Double Bass Performance, and has been a member of the Appleton Mile of Music Education team for five years, a coach for Heid music’s Rock University, and a featured performer with the Lawrence Symphony Orchestra
