Sam has been playing music since he was 6 years old. He started with piano lessons with his grandma then moved to guitar lessons with his dad when he was 13. He quickly progressed and has done a lot of learning on his own. He has performed in many recitals through his middle school and high school years as well as accompanying the high school choir, singing and playing in two high school talent shows; and now does live performances in a duo at a variety of venues around the twin cities. Sam has 6 years of teaching experience, with students ranging from ages 8-24 with a wide variety of skills. He has taught guitar, ukulele, and piano lessons since he was 14 years old. He enjoys connecting and developing relationships with students, making lessons enjoyable for them, and teaching music they want to learn. He is also currently studying to be a Spanish teacher at Bethel University.
