Cameron

Cameron has had a close relationship with music his whole life. He’s been playing for 20 years, and his favorite thing is sharing his passion for music with others. He writes, performs, composes, and creates music in all kinds of different genres and styles.

Cameron started guitar at age 9, and performed in his church’s band growing up. As an adult he has performed in bands and as a solo act around the Twin Cities. He is currently working on an album, and recently did a soundtrack for a student film.

Cameron values independence and autonomy, and strives for all of his students to be capable of taking their education into their own hands someday.

As someone who struggled in school, Cameron understands on a deep level how different students have different needs and approaches to learning. His teaching is centered around the student’s individual experience and goals, and he takes pride in the patient and caring attitude he brings to every lesson. His lessons don’t just include practicing songs and scales; he teaches all aspects of music, from theory and science to philosophy and appreciation.
